No Dialogue, No Real Event

We recently received another event inquiry along the lines of:
“This is who we are… these are our products… we have an anniversary coming up. We expect innovative ideas and a fully developed concept. There’s no fixed budget—feel free to be creative.”
Of course, it was phrased much more eloquently and politely.

In reality, though, a large share of those ideas ends up being discarded. Why? Because what truly matters is the feel—the company’s DNA—which simply can’t be captured in a written briefing alone. Sitting down together, exchanging ideas, connecting perspectives—that’s where meaningful, well-grounded events take shape.

For us as an event agency, that means:
1. Helping clients understand that their active input is essential to the success of their event
2. Getting a real sense of the company’s DNA through conversations and immersion
3. Embracing co-creation instead of copy-paste solutions

In a world full of tools, templates, and slide decks, it’s easy to forget what truly makes the difference: real conversations and ongoing exchange—even in the proposal phase. AI and PowerPoint can do a lot. But a genuine dialogue can do more.
